He completed a residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is board certified in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, Southern Association for Vascular Surgery, International Society for Vascular Surgery, Atlanta Vascular Society and Georgia Surgical Society. Dr. Kirkland is a member of the American Association of Vascular Surgery; the F.A. Collier Surgical Society; and the Atlanta Vascular Society. |
